TARGET SPECIES: Calves, lambs, yeanlings, piglets, dogs, cats and chickens and turkeys.
INDICATIONS: The product is recommended for calves, lambs, yeanlings, piglets in the treatment of digestive and respiratory tract infections caused by germs that are sensitive to the active substance (enteritis, sepsis, salmonellosis, staphylococcia, mycoplasmosis) and in the treatment of secondary bacterial infections in viral diseases.
In dogs and cats, the product is recommended for the treatment of respiratory, digestive, urogenital infections, and dermatitis caused by germs that are sensitive to the active substance.
In chickens and turkeys, the product is recommended for the treatment of infections caused by the following bacteria that are sensitive to enrofloxacin: Chickens – Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Avibacterium paragallinarum, Pasteurella multocida; Turkeys – Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Pasteurella multocida.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer it to young dogs, up to 12 months of age, and dogs with a history of epilepsy.
Do not administer it in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use it for prophylaxis. Do not use it when it is known that cross-resistance to fluoroquinolones occurs in the herds/flocks for which the treatment is intended.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Except for potential joint disorders in the growth cartilages of immature animals, adverse reactions are rather rare. However, there may sometimes appear skin rashes (hives), gastric irritation (anorexia, vomiting), fever or even leukopenia, thrombopenia and hemolytic anemia. If you notice any side effects, even ones not already listed in this leaflet, or believe that the medicine has not had any effect, please inform your veterinarian.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The dose is selected from the given range is made based on the severity of the disease and the sensitivity of the microorganism. The oral solution of ENROFLOXACIN FP 10% is administered as follows:
Calves, lambs, yeanlings and piglets – administered in the drinking water, milk or milk replacers: 2.5 – 5 mg of active substance/kg bw/day.
For the treatment of mycoplasmas and moderate infections, the dose is 1 ml of ENROFLOXACIN FP 10%/40 kg bw (2.5 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw), for three days.
For severe infections and infections with Salmonella spp., the dose is 1 ml of ENROFLOXACIN FP 10%/20 kg bw (5 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw), for five days.
Chickens and turkeys: 10 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw a day, for 3-5 consecutive days. Treatment for 5 consecutive days in mixed infections and in chronic progression forms. If clinical improvement is not observed within 2-3 days, alternative antimicrobial therapy based on sensitivity tests should be used.
Dogs – administered in the drinking water: 5 – 20 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw/day for 3 – 5 days, depending on the severity of the disease.
Cats – administered in the drinking water: 5 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw/day for 3 – 5 days, depending on the severity of the disease.
In order to ensure proper dosage, the body weight of the animals should be accurately determined, whenever possible, to avoid under-dosing.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: calves: 12 days; piglets: 7 days: lambs, yeanlings: 4 days; chickens: 7 days; turkeys: 13 days. It is not authorized for use in bird producing eggs for human consumption. Do not administer to replacement birds 14 days before the laying period starts.
STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at temperatures lower than 25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight and frost. Keep in a dry place. Do not use this veterinary product after the expiration date stated on the label. Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 3 months. Shelf life after incorporation into the drinking water: 1 day.
SPECIAL WARNINGS:
Special warnings for each target species:
Administration of high doses during pregnancy can cause embryolethality and toxic condition. The treatment of infections caused by Mycoplasma spp. may be unable to eradicate the microorganism.
